Manderley On The Green Comments
Conditions were average I'd say, nothing special. Still fun to get out there but I'd probably prefer to play somewhere else for the money.
Again the pace of play here always seems to be slow. They must host a lot of tournaments or something. The cart girl was better this time around though, thank god. It's a pretty average course though.
Hottest day of the summer so far and the cart girl only came around once. She drove right by a few times without even stopping when someone was hitting a shot. Greens were alright, but some holes had 'green-side' bunkers that weren't even bunkers. Just sand with grass, looked really bad. Overall, it was meh...
Course was in decent shape. Rough was quite deep though. Greens running true and fast. Being the hottest day of the year I was very disappointed to see that the cart girl came around once over the 18 holes. Game was running slow at times and had a couple groups sitting at the tee box, though we finished in 4.5-5h... I'll be there again as it beat me on a few holes I was not happy with!
Played last week and had a great time, although course was tough and long. No problems with cart girl service and halfway shack was open late as we played 27 holes. Stopped in after the game and the cute girl in the lounge said it is under new management and have made a lot of new changes with the course and the upkeep of it.
